Fetters of feminism,
Won’t let me be “Me,”
I want to be treated like a “Queen,”
I want “Dolls, Teddies, and Roses,”,
I want to engulf hues of “Pink and Purple,”
I want to be “Wooed, Pampered and Loved,”
But, I don’t want to be tagged as “Bimbo” or “Brat”..
Fetters of feminism,
Won’t let me be “Me,”
I want to be “Independent,”
I want to be “Respected, Trusted and Appreciated,”
I want to be a “Leader,”
I want to be “Decision Maker,”
But, I don’t want to be framed as “Egotistic” or “Standoffish”…
I had Enough!
I don’t need snobbish fetters of feminism,
I don’t need more “Rules” to lead my “Life,”
I can wear “Pink” and conduct a “Board Meeting,”
I can hug my “Teddy” and run a “Parliament,”
I can be happily “Married” and travel the “World Alone,”
I can be a “Mother” and ink my skin with “Tattoos,”
I can be “Me”…
I had enough of your manipulated feminism,
Thus, it’s time for “Feminism 2.0”,
Time for “no male — no female” era,
Time to be “Equal” without fetters,
Time to scrap “Rules,
Time to be just “Me”….
